Quote of the day May 3rd, 2023
“… there's a growing sentiment in the country to be less dependent on foreign oil."-Rush
This quote was taken from 2001, after the September 11th attacks and the fluctuation of gas pricing that happened in the wake of that tragedy. In the last two and a half years we went from energy (oil) independent, to once again relying on foreign oil. Our government has brought the ‘Strategic Oil Reserve’ to its lowest level since the 1980’s. Why is our government continually taking actions that increase our energy costs? Who thinks that this is a good idea? Better question, is anyone thinking?? In 2001, the rise in energy prices came as a direct result of the attacks and our retaliation, entry into a war. Today’s energy price instability comes from self directed actions aimed at making changes in attempts to combat worldwide manmade climate change. Why are western nations (US, UK, Germany etc) prepared to assassinate themselves, destroying economic growth and creating inflation by limiting energy options to only those that are considered ‘green’ when China & India continue to build inexpensive coal and gas fired plants throughout their countries with no end in sight?
This again brings up the current climate change agenda and our posts on that subject:

.. And of course what Rush had to say about Al Gore: Cold is Global Warming?
