For more than 100 years, we have been told by numerous media sources that climate change was a problem that was an existential threat to human beings.

Flipping this on its head, it is these claims of existential threat that constitute the real existential threat. Anyone who has honestly studied history can look back at see that life spans and the quality of those expanded lives have been enhanced by mankind’s technological advances. Many of those advances have come through the industrial revolution that largely began with Eli Whitney and the cotton gin… the inventions of mechanical engines to lessen physical work that humans needed to perform. This was then built upon with the advent of the railroads followed by personal automobiles and later, air travel. It is these advances that are at risk to the manmade climate alarmism.
