The Most Dangerous Man in America
A title held by someone we all held dear, now it appears there is a new contender
Yesterday evening Tucker Carlson released his second twitter based monologue. As has become his custom in recent months, Mr Carlson was discussing how our government has been changing over the years at an ever more rapid pace. Last night’s main catch phrase was to hang on to your taboos, do not allow them to become normalized. He then went on to go through recent history and explain exactly how taboos have been normalized in the last few presidential administrations, ending with where we are today.
This monologue is almost as telling today as Paul Harvey’s “If I were the devil” monologue was in 1965. (see below)
(This was largely dismissed back in 1965 as crazy religious talk… where are we today as a result of that dismissal?)
As a result of monologues such as the one last night, Tucker Carlson has been called the most dangerous man in America in some circles… Time will tell if he is speaking from the heart (and his own mind) or if this is a calculated effort to just build an audience and media empire. Early indications are that he has been speaking from the heart in recent months. Indications are also that this heartfelt outspokenness is what led to his dismissal from FOX news.
For many months now, Tucker Carlson has been speaking about issues and stories that others in the media has shied away from covering. Those that dared to speak out on these subjects have also found their positions altered, as Tucker did. Steve Hilton no longer has his Sunday night show, Dan Bongino has left FOX news completely.
Tucker has been speaking of things that some of us have been thinking. Asking larger questions and altering our landscape by making it acceptable to discuss these thoughts despite mainstream media pressing them into a different kind of amoral taboo. The kinds of things that previous had to be talked about via allegory or in humor are now being discussed.
Tucker is but the latest example of someone’s comments garnering them the moniker of ‘Most Dangerous Man In America’. In times gone by that has been bestowed upon controversial comedians such as Lenny Bruce or George Carlin or other media figures such as the late Rush Limbaugh. These people are not dangerous in a conventional way, in that they or their actions would bring harm to others, but rather because the ideas and ideals that they discuss go against the grain that those who are trying to reinforce the accepted narrative of the day have worked to construct. This is different that those who just ‘think different’, as Steve Jobs and Apple had said in the late 1990’s. Ironically, the man who did the voiceover for that ad is now criticizing the current set of narratives in Hollywood, Richard Dreyfuss.
Do his monologues, speeches and popularity make Tucker Carlson the ‘Most Dangerous Man in America’ today? In the mainstream, perhaps, however there are others who truly wield power and authority that are far more dangerous to our Constitutional Republic, the great American Experiment.

I have absolutely no doubt that Tucker is speaking from his heart, and using his own words. He doesn't calculate based on viewers or ratings and is a lot like Elon - speak the truth and let the chips fall where they may.
God Bless and keep Tucker!
