1. New York state budget proposal by New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (dubbed "Silversize"; thus providing an excuse to work in clips of several people - including Rush himself - doing goofy dances before the intro)
2. Close-up of Rush's tie and joke about some guy in the back
3. Oddball story about a radio weatherman in Fresno, CA who - after being fired - claimed management wanted him to lie about the forecast and claim it would be sunny for a Dittohead barbecue; along with the fallout
4. A similar story claiming Rush was behind the firing of WNYW-TV 5 {the FOX flagship in New York} meteorologist Julie Golden; which wound up getting picked up by longtime WPLG-TV 10 {Miami's ABC affiliate} Dwight Lauderdale {cue jokes about a station which covered Fort Lauderdale having an anchor with Lauderdale as his last name} before the whole situation was cleared up (as seen in clip of WNYW's "Good Day New York" - with Rush joking the person in the wrong was GDNY co-anchor Jim Ryan)
5. CNN/Time poll showing 52% of Americans polled felt the feds threatened individual rights in the investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing and 61% feeling they had enough power to investigate terrorism and 77% believing anarchists had no allegiance to either major party
6. Hearings of Henry Foster's nomination for U.S. Surgeon General in contrast with ousted predecessor Jocelyn Elders 7. The loose-lipped Dr. Elders' remark claiming no one should visit an OB-GYN that had not performed an abortion 8. One more for the road: Dr. Elders takes potshots in a Playboy interview with Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas, North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms and Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich - but pays a rare compliment of sorts to Rush 9. Hate speech from the Left being ignored by the Left; including remarks by NAACP chairwoman Myrlie Evers-Williams in which Evers-Williams (the widow of assassinated civil rights leader Medgar Evers) making remarks suggesting an armed revolt in response to the Contract with America 10. The press trying to start an argument during a press conference with Speaker Gingrich and Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole on the issue of Social Security cuts; with the press falsely claiming Gingrich walked out of the presser (Dole's closing remarks were followed by the two exiting)
