“Total victory when you go to war is the objective, not how you fight it, not sparing civilian here or infrastructure there." - Rush
“Total victory” - A concept that has seemed to elude us as a people for many years now. It has eluded us in international conflict, it has eluded us in politics (at least for those of us on the right). Can we learn from our history and re-locate the drive and spirit that made us the leaders of the free world enabling the defeat of nefarious forces in two different world wars?
Side note: Our leaders from both the left and the right universally understood the idea of total victory. It transcended any internal politics. One must wonder if that is still the case today?

Obviously this is more than appropriate when facing an existential threat. Had Hitler made good on the America Bomber plan it would be appropriate to kill my ancestors. But the US is in a unique position of being a melting pot and to whomever we do this we will have killed many of our own family members. So, it had better not be frivolous as the war in Ukraine is now or any other Dimocrat antagonism or manipulation. Most realize that Truman was afraid of Stalin and decimated 400,000 Japanese to demonstrate to Stalin a capability. Japan was already destroyed and had nothing left to fight with and wanted to quit the war by August. This Admin better wake up and see that the doomsday clock is about to strike midnight.
