The left sees our history as racist and oppressive, they have total blindness to what society was in every other part of the world as our nation was forming. They refuse to acknowledge that slavery transcended colonial times, it started long before the British colonists set sail… That total refusal is demonstrated by revulsion from our founding documents’ ideals and values. That total refusal and emphasis on ‘democracy’ as opposed to our functional republic is actually a push towards progressive/leftist totalitarianism.

That's true. The American revolution led to the end of slavery in many states in the northern half of the US. Which then led to Haiti ending slavery, followed by many European nations.
The ideas of our founding fathers were highly influential then bringing about greater Liberty in the West.
