Quote of the day March 22nd, 2023
“… have you ever noticed in the process of all of this, never ever is it said that a Democrat candidate must moderate his tone to avoid ticking off the independents?" - Rush
The reality of the establishment Republican’s continued (failed) advice to candidates for many decades noticed on this and many subsequent occasions. This led to the rise of the antithesis of this advice and the Trump presidency. Prior to 2016, the bad advice had been overcome very seldom in the past, the most notable being President Reagan in 1980. Will conservatives learn from past mistakes and unabashedly stick to the ideas and ideals that made this country great? Will the positive lessons of the Trump presidency be taken to heart or will the fear of ‘mean tweets’ and other allegations by the left have the GOP deferring from genuine conservatism?
