To place this in context, Rush was discussing how he believed that the existing ‘playbook’ would not work with President Trump. A new ‘playbook’ had to be written, one that would help to place the GOP on the losing end of every argument going forward. Emphasis on race, re-invention of science and medicine, creating newly malleable realities that can always be turned into more and greater governmental authority. The plans of progressives that began more than 100 years ago, were kicked into high gear. Have we, as conservatives, as Americans, yet learned what we are losing inch by inch? Learned their tactics sufficiently to counter them in such ways as to restore the constitutional republic that the founders of this nation created to ensure our lives, liberty, property and sacred honor?
