A bit of a followup from recent quotes of the day. The current state of uni-party politics has been illustrated repeatedly. The establishment Republican party is very content to compromise and make gestures to show that they are not who their base believes that they are… Steve Deace had a similar take, “We are not a nation of laws, we are a nation of political will and always will be” The political will to wield power and influence in accordance with conservative principles must be sought in order to preserve (restore) our republic as it was founded.
