The key word there is ‘rabid’. There vast amount of hate for Donald Trump by his opponents and so much unquestionable affection from his supporters, it seems as though we are in midst of a badly widening gulf that causes both sides to lose all common sense and reason. Both sides need to temper their passions against thought and reason. There needs to be a kumbaya, coming together based on rational thought and analysis that is sorely lacking in our society today. The lawful foundations of our Constitutional Republic are being shaken by this phenomenon.
