This has been the case since the general election of 2000 that ended with George W Bush being sworn in as President. It will continue to be the case as we watch what happened in 2020 with that general election and then the subsequent run-offs and midterms since. The sheer number of questions that can be asked but cannot be as they would be too dangerous to ask defies imagination.
