The left is always in action to gain or increase their power and control. This is in stark contrast to loyal opposition (AKA Mainstream GOP), which is content to fundraise and stay in their backseat roles as much as possible. The left relishes being in control and never allows time to go by without pressing their agenda items. They soundly oppose anything that will ever diminish their authority/control. They will use all means possible to do so.
