Illegal Immigration

Most average Americans realize that unfettered immigration is an unmitigated disaster for any nation.

Most people on the right, or even of a moderately conservative bent are aware of the immigration problem. It is a long-running problem. Potential solutions have been debated for several decades. Most average Americans realize that unfettered immigration is an unmitigated disaster for any nation. It is for this reason that the Democrats refuse to do anything and indeed fight desperately, against any attempt to slow illegal immigration. It must be allowed to continue at all costs and anyone who says different is a bigoted racist.  Any listener to Rush would know why.

“The Democrats do not want any effort to impede the flow of illegal immigrants into the country. They don’t want a wall. They don’t want a fence. They don’t want new agents. They don’t want anything that would interrupt the flow.  That is the bottom line. And so, there isn’t any compromise here, much like there isn’t any compromise on much of anything else issue-wise. But it’s stunning here.”

The issue has only deteriorated since Rush left us.  According to US government statistics, the Border Patrol encountered 2.2 million illegal aliens in 2022. That was double the preceding year. When Rush made the above statement, in 2019, there were 859,000.  Many of these same immigrants receive government benefits, contributing to the national debt that was discussed in our last article. The Biden administration is considering paying some illegals $450,000 per person!.  In April 2023 alone, Border Patrol agents apprehended 16 members of the terror watch list. With the recent expiration of the Covid-era Title 42, millions of illegals already in the country will no longer face deportation, and millions more are expected to arrive.
