Historical Quote of the day May 13th, 2023
"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex."
January 17th, 1961, President Eisenhower gave his farewell address to the nation. In that address he sounded the alarm about the government influence. President Eisenhower warned of the military-industrial complex however in today’s world we have unwarranted influence from multiple sources. Big Pharma has become as large a threat, if not larger, than the military-industrial complex that President Eisenhower feared. It is also very interesting that in 2023, we have Robert F Kennedy Jr speaking freely about these and other fears, relating them to what his late uncle, President John F Kennedy spoke of during his presidency.

Ike knew way back in his presidency, we see how much worse it is today.
